AC Montgomery was founded in 1988 and has competed in many leagues and tournaments in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The club quickly made a home at Marx Cafe, in Mount Pleasant, which still serves as a gathering place for the team after matches, alumni, and supporters.
The club currently competes in District Sports leagues and in the DC Premier League.
